Fedora installation problem (HELP)

I'm running Redhat 9 on one machine and I tried to overwrite it with the fresh Fedora installation on the same machine. What I did was

1) Downloaded 4 ISO files (FC3-i386-disc1.iso, ..., FC3-i386-disc3.iso) from one mirror site.
2) Use WinImage to extract each iso files to seperate directories on my PC.
3) Use Nero to burn files in each 4 directories to 4 seperate discs.
4) Put the first disc in the CD drive of the machine which runs Redhat 9 and reboot.

The problem was my Redhat 9 machine doesn't find the boot disc (or boot information on the disc) in the CD drive and continue to boot to the Redhat 9.

There's nothing wrong with the hardware and I'm wondering if I did anything wrong handling ISO files.

Can someone give me a hint on what I did wrong or share his/her own experience on installation Fedora. I would be appreciated. Thanks.

you can not extarct iso files and burn them. You have to burn cd stright from iso image. In nero go to OPEN,
in file types instead of 'all nero images' choose ISO images and open it. I can't remember what is it called exactly in nero but you will find it. Just when you do 'open' change file types for ISO it's easy. Find it ones and will be easy forever.

I did a similar thing last week ended up with and iso file on each disk instead of the iso image.
If you explore an iso image I think you should see the install directories.

Try again 'open from image' do not grab ISO file and place on CD. You have to open the project from ISO. See I am not using Nero or windows anymore but if you will not find it within next 24h or somebode else is here who remember where is that option, I will install bl@@dy windows and nero to let you know how to do it.
