Fedora Core 5/VMWare

I have Fedora Core 5 on 5 cd's that I would like to load onto my virtual machine. I have not used vmware before so not sure of how things need to be setup. I basically follow the installation wizard leaving all settings at the default. The on big question I have is that when I get to the screen to choose my "os" system. Fedora is not listed in the drop down menu. I see Red hat, Ubuntu, Mandrake, Sun Solaris & Linux other. So I choose Linux other then when I hit the finish key I get the following error message "not enough space on the file system for the selected operation". Can anyone help me out?

Right after you click on Linux Other?
Where did you install VMWARE? On Linux or Windows?
Check if the default path of the virtual disks that will be created have enough space.
If not just use another path.

How do I check the default of the virtual disks? I do not remember is asking to browse to a different location. If you could explain further I would appreciate it.

click on create virtual machine, click next 3 times are there you would see a location pointing to c:\ change that.

I got past the issue mentioned above but now having a different problem. I actually get two errors message. In the bottom left hand corner of my vm window I see "You do not have vmware tools installed". Then the other problem is right after is asks to check the cd or continue. After continuing I get the next error message "No hard drives have been found. You probably need to manullay choose devie drivers for the installation to succeed. Would you like to select drivers now". I' am not sure where to go from this point, or what drivers to install.

yup, you need to add bus logic driv. or something similar to it using add devices. vmware tools can be installed after you have completely installed fc.

What type of driver is the system asking for? Nic card, hard drive etc. Because I went into a list of drivers, the whole list looked like drivers for different nic cards but I did not see the one installed on my pc. Which one would I choose? I' am not sure what you mean by "bus logic".

The issue is explained here:

Change the SCSI controller type from LSI Logic to BusLogic or from BusLogic to LSI Logic (worked in my case).
