Fedora Core 2 and Windows XP with Acronis OS Selector

I am somewhat of a beginner to this. first, here's my setup.

I have 2 hard drives, one of which is SCSI. On my SCSI I have Windows XP and have installed Acronis OS Selector. I then partitioned space on the end of my other drive to hold Fedora Core 2. I install Fedora here, set GRUB up on the boot sector of it's partition. Acronis OS Selector finds the new Linux beautiful and lets me boot to it but it doesn't make it. I've tried installing Fedora to the same drive as windows and OS Selector, I've even tried installing Fedora Core 2. It doesn't work either, but I do get a different GRUB error than with Fedora Core 2. Core 2 gives "GRUB stage2Read Error" or something like that. Is this a problem with my hard drive setup, the OS Selector, GRUB? I cant figure it out.

Troy
