Fedora 30 install
I used sudo dnf install quick-usb-formatter It installed about 20 additional programs but I get no icon. I tried a search and it can't find the program. I installed sudo dnf mediawriter this one I can find.
I wanted to format a usb stick to fat 32 to update a bios |
you can format it using gparted and/or other tools too. I don't know this usb-stick-formatter. probably you can start it from command line.
I do not really understand your last sentence about bios, would be nice to explain it a bit better. Also please try to use better titles, what you posted is misleading, because your problem is not related to "Fedora 30 install" at all. |

again, you can use other tools to format an usb stick. I have no idea about your problem, you gave no usable information. Probably that installation went wrong somehow.

I updated this morning and it showed up in the utilities icon. This solved the problem I used it and it works fine. I keep two hard drives loaded in the computer. If I have a problem I can switch drives and update quickly.
I looked for other programs and didn't find any.I have to update bios in my windows computer. |
I told you, for example gparted can be used to format usb stick.
