Fedora 15 on bootable USB drive

When trying to creat a bootable USB drive with Fedora 15 I get the following error:

[creator:947] Unable to get GetVolumeInformation(A:): (21, 'GetVolumeInformation', 'The device is not ready.')

I am trying to create a bootable USB with Fedora 15 and using a PC running Windows XP with Service Pack (3). I am using the current version of liveusb-creator-3.11.2-setup.exe and Fedora-15-i686-live-Desktop.iso to create the bootable USB flash drive.

If anyone has any recommendations/changes needed to create the bootable USB, woul appreciate any information given.

Sorry, I missed that you were trying to create the thumb drive with WinXP. I've no clue about that error in Windows.

This bug looks like it's describing this as a hardware problem, if you're running the latest version.

Appreciate your responses. I finally got the USB drive to boot on my machine with Fedora 15.

Glad to hear you got it to work; What was the final fix for it?
