FC2 installations disks always fail media check

My md5sums are good. The cd burns without errors. I do it as super user at a speed of 8. They mount and look okay but everyone one except disk 4 fails the media check. I've redownloaded and still the same problem. I have 8 new coasters now.... Anybody have any ideas?

I didn't have this problem with FC1....

Have you tried installing without checking the media?

I had that problem with one machine in particular - try testing it in another machine.
I tried swapping out the cd drives and cables and they kept testing negative and failing.
I guess it must be a controller thing?
