FC1 & S-ATA Raid

Hello people,

I just bought a Tyan Tomcat i7210,
which has an on-board S-ATA RAID controller.
( Silicon Image Sil3114 )

I have downloaded the RAID Drivers for linux from the TYAN website and put them on floppy.

Now, I boot my Server, go into the bios of the RAID controller ( The Silicon Image Sil3114 ) by pressing F4, and I create a RAID 1 array of my 2 Maxtor 160GB S-ATA Disks. That was done, so i exit the BIOS. Now, my machine starts booting from the CD-ROM (Just like i want)

It starts the Fedora installer, and it says the following thing:
Quote:

No hard drives have been found. You probably need to manually choose the device drivers for the installation to succeed. Would you like to select drivers now?
I chose YES,

It says:
Quote:

No device drivers have been loaded for your system. Would you like to load any way?
I say: Add Device. (If i do done, i can't get past the formatting of the disks for fedora with disk druïd)

Now, a list with devices shows up, 3Com etc. I press F2 to load my driver from the floppy i made.

Quote:

Reading driver disk...
Now, the Silicon image is in the list of devices, I select it.

After its loaded, it says:
Quote:

No device drivers have been loaded for your system. Would you like to load any way?
So, i repeat the sequence a few times, with no effect.

Finally, when it shows up again, i press the done button.

It starts the anaconda.

I select language, keyboard, mouse,..

Then i select manually partitioning with Disk Druid.

Quote:

An error has occurred, no valid devices were located on which to create new file systems. Please check your hardware for the cause of the problem.

Now, I'm completely desperate. Shall I try the Hance Rapids raid controller?

Have you got other ideas?

Thx in advance :(
