Dell 250N Screen resolution problems

hello everybody,
I have recently installed fc3 on my dell machine. The problem is there's only 2 selection for the screen res which is 800x600 and 640x480. Ideally, i want to be have a resoltion of about 1260 or there about (cant remember actual figures) but it wont let me change the resolution. How can i get the display to show a higher resolution. I have included a copy of my xorg.conf file.

thanx in advance.

# RgbPath is the location of the RGB database. Note, this is the name of the
# file minus the extension (like ".txt" or ".db"). There is normally
# no need to change the default.

# Multiple FontPath entries are allowed (they are concatenated together)
# By default, Red Hat 6.0 and later now use a font server independent of
# the X server to render fonts.

RgbPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb"
