configure LAN in fedoracore6

I am from Bhutan, I have installed Fedoracore6 in my PC and I would like to Configure the Newtwork through Local Area Network.
In terminal I get Network configuration, but when i click the run tool i don't get the place to put the IP Address. Through Administration, I have to put the devices name and add hardware also. Plez, let me know how to go step by step for net work configuration. I would be very grateful if anyone could kindly give me some notes on configuring the network.

Which tool did you use? Running system-config-network or system-config-network-tui should have presented you with a tool that you could use to configure your network settings.
