I install FC5 obey the following steps:
the hardware is PC with intel P4

1) download the dvd i386 iso
2) burn the boot.iso into the a cdr, then use it to boot the PC;
3) install program auto run, and boot kernel successful
4) select install from harddisk /dev/hda5
5) when I press next button in graphic interface,error dialog report
Error mounting file system on hda5: Device or resource busy

6)Only a "OK" for selection;
7) select office/software/web with "Customize later"
8) system check dependenceis for install passed
9) format /dev/hda6 with EXT3 as / ,pass
10) then error report again:
Error
The file ppp-2.4.3-6.2.1.i386.rpm cannot be opened. This is
due to a missing file or perhaps a corrupt package. If you
are installing from CD media this usually means the CD
media is corrupt, or the CD drive is unable to read the media.

only a reboot for select.

But I go into the cosole, find the file ppp...rpm can read from
/tmp/isomedia/Fedora/RPMS, after I remount /tmp/isodir with rw mode, it can copy normally.


I'm sorry, I check the DVD iso sha1sum, find it is wrong, so I download the new one, install it sucessfully.
