an image drive in windows 98 after installing fedora core 3
I have a 40 gb hard disk.I installed fedora core 3 on 1 10 gb partition and windows 98 on other 30 gb partition.the windows 98 partition is further divided into 3 10 gb partitions each.(c:, d:, f: drive).I used fdisk (available with ms-dos )for partitioning.
after installing fedora core 3 ,I can see an extra drive in my windows 98(e:). Now this drive is nothing but the image of d: drive.Whatever action is done to d drive ,the action is also performed into e: drive(a kind of image of d:).I would like to know how to get rid of this image drive. Please help. |
post the fdisk -l output (in fedora) here. i remember this kind of problem in windows 98 3 or 4 years ago when a i used a big foot hard drive (a quantum one if i remember it correctly).
have you considered replacing win 98? it's already eol anyway. |
