yum won't work
I just installed yum with no problems installing. Here is what I get when I run it.
[root@localhost etc]# yum list available Insufficient server config - no servers found. Aborting. [root@localhost etc]# I am gathering that I don't have a server running that it needs. I am running FC4 Thanks. |
What do you mean you "just installed yum"? Yum is installed by default in FC4.

I didn't know that, I just switched from Suse. Do you know why I would get this result.
|
Because you didn’t install the preconfigured FC4 yum rpm, which would have said “already installed”?
If that’s what you did, then reinstall the FC4 version: http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...2-7.noarch.rpm |
Thanks, I will give that a try that when I get back home. Do you think I need to uninstall what I did.

It's a good idea.
