Question yum install problem


Hi everyone...
every time i uses yum to install anything the following problem arises..

[root@localhost ~]# yum install vlc
primary.sqlite.bz2 100% |=========================| 496 kB 02:17
http://ftp.hostrino.com/pub/fedora/l...ry.sqlite.bz2: [Errno 4] Socket Error: timed out
Trying other mirror.
primary.sqlite.bz2 1% | | 8.0 kB 18:28 ETA


and it repeat again n again...
can anyone tell me whats d problem?????????

on the very face of it, it looks like your internet connection is not working. can you reach that site directly via ping or in a browser?
