Question Xscreensaver question


how do i get xscreensaver to work when im login as root ?

Try running this command:

xhost +localhost

and then selecting `File / Restart Daemon'.

i did the xhost command but how launch `File / Restart Daemon'. command ?

I guess it means, when you open the Xscreensaver properties (or options, whatever it's called, the window from which you can choose the saver) it's that window's File menu and there Restart Daemon.

or, kill the b*stard and start again hehe..well, if there's no other way of restarting it, just kill the process and start again - that's what I call a "restart"
