Xorg starts with no errors, but still no GUI...

I'm having some weird trouble with my X... recently I changed the resolution and stopped xfs and the whole thing's run amok. I checked the wiki and I changed my xorg.conf to load the font directories without xfs like it said, but still no dice. I noticed /usr/bin/gdm-binary is running, but no X server is running. Here's the log and xorg.conf:

What confused me is the logs show no errors, just a few NVIDIA warnings..

Ack.. it appears I have a lot more problems than it looked like - far worse than a lack of a GUI. I'll just reinstall since I've nothing to lose.
