Xmms?

I'm currently trying to get XMMS up on Fedora Core 4. When I try to run the installation, it wants libmikmod.so.2

So fine, I installed it, and it's in the /usr/local/lib folder.

But...for some reason, when I try to install XMMS, it doesn't detect libmikmod.so.2, and I cannot seem to find anything that will direct it in the right place.

What am I supposed to do here?

It might be easier to get a few fedora repo's and install xmms via yum.

Instructions to installing xmms on fedora here.

You might want to also grab xmms-mp3 from

http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrp.../linux/3/xmms/

so you can play mp3s.

Cheers,
