x86-64 Mozilla Plugins

On x86-64 Firefox can't get plugins to work.
jre1.5 and flash7 plugins are ln -s , set up in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
The same way as the 32bit FC4 but they don't work in Firefox 1.0.7.
Is there something different for plugins in x86-64 than in x86-32 .

I just discovered this trying to install flash-player-7 .
Boy is this a bummer.
Does anyone know where I can get a flash-player that will run on x86-64 box.

ERROR: Your architecture, \'x86_64\', is not supported by the
Macromedia Flash Player installer.
