X won't start?
 

Hey guys,

I bought a new pc its an IBM NetVista with on board video.

I'm trying to install FC7, and vesa didn't detect my video card. I completed the install in text mode, but I'm wondering how I can get display to work properly with on board video.

I was going to try to update using yum, any other suggestions before I try that?

do a "yum -y update" as root without quotes. After it reboots you should have the latest kernel installed and all other packages. What brand video card do you have or what is the model number of your netvista?

from
id:3:initdefault:
to
id:5:initdefault:
