X server crashes with i810 video driver and fc6 xen kernel

I am using 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6xen kernel on P4 machine with 0.5 GB RAM 40 GB HDD and i810 video driver.

The X server is not working for fedora 6 xen kernel ( 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6xen)but it is working for normal fc6 kernel ( 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6).

(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration

(EE) BIOS modes not suitable for selected depth.

In my xorg.conf file the Defaultdepth is 24. Same hardware configuration works for 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6. Why not 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6xen? Why should I select different depth?

Has it to do with size of swap partition?

If any one faced same problem and has a fix please reply.

thanks

RE: X server crashes with i810 video driver and fc6 xen kernel

I am having the same problem, except with 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen. I need to try the non-xen kernel and see if I can get it to work. I have been searching in vain to a fix for this problem. Perhaps it is a bug?

Have you ever resolved this problem. I have a pure intel mother board and 1 gig memory. Processor is d930.

XEN boots until it has to communicate with X and then I lose keyboard, mouse and screen.
