X not displaying properly

Alright, so I did a fresh install of FC3 on an old Dell that I had laying around. And when I mean old, I mean old. 96MB of RAM, 433MHz CPU, 6GB HDD. Anyways, the graphical login works properly (I think so at least). I installed XFce as my window manager. Everything loads up fine, but when I open any window, for any application, I have to run my mouse over the buttons in order for them to appear. When I open a terminal, the space where the text should be is just black, and I can't higlight anything. On webpages, it'll load them and everything, but when I scroll (and its like this for application menus too) the original content stays on screen and I have to highlight the text or mouse over it in order for anything to appear. This isn't a fluke, I've used these disks to perform an installation on my laptop (which worked fine), but on this box I have done fresh installs three times and each time I got the same result. What should I do about this? Maybe disable onboard video (if it's even there)? What can I do to correct this?
