having major probs trying to get wireless network card to work and also to change settings on touchpad.
Dell Latitude 110L laptop - Fedora Core 4
Intel Pro Wireless network adapter
When I go into Systems Setting / Network it displays both my built in network adapter (Intel 82562ET Pro/100 and my wireless (Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG). I have managed to activate the Pro/100 and can get on internet, but get error message when trying to activate wireless (ipw2200 device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.) Any Ideas??
Also the touchpad is driving me crazy!! can't find were to disable the options to click by pressing touchpad (instead of just using left/right buttons)
I realized I assumed that you knew that you needed to download the Intel binary firmware for the wireless. If you haven't already done so, you can get it here. Untar the package to /lib/firmware and reboot.
