wireless issues


I just loaded fc3 on my laptop
I have a proxim harmony card and it is registering
it is the right card but i get this error when i try to iniate it
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported.

what is that
kudzu found the card at boot and configured it but i cant get on my nework now

The only thing I can think of is to check that eth0 really is your wireless card - i.e. do you also have a wire-lan card in your laptop?

i gave up for linux and my wireless card cause xp had more issues with it
i will look at getting another card
