1) What utility can we use to download so that we can open up zip/Winzip files within Linux?
|
e.g.
ark, which is a graphical archiver, which supports zip, too, and which is included with Fedora Core.
The command-line zip/unzip utility is available too.
unzip file.zip

2) How can I hook up to the internet via Dial Up connection? I have AOL as an ISP but they don't make software for Linux so what's a Fedora user to do in order to connect to the Internet?
|
I'm not up-to-date on the state of PengAOL for Linux. Search the web for news.
For Internet connectivity, check out the
redhat-config-network and read the documentation.

3) Unlike Windows, Technical Support for Linux and Fedora seem non-existent. I'd like to actually speak to someone knowledgeable of Linux and/or Fedora to pose these and other questions to. Does anyone have a phone number I can call?

For general Linux support, search the web and look for free message boards, such as this one. For phone based support, you may need to look for commercial support or check out support packages as offered by Red Hat for their Enterprise Linux products.
