Hi All,

I have be trying to get this card to work in FC5 but I have no luck so far. It used to work in FC4 ok. In the KinfoCenter it says it is detected as a SAA7146 (rev 01) but I can't seem to use it.when I type in:

ls -l /dev/dvb/adapter0/
I get a error ls: /dev/dvb/adapter0/: No such file or directory

Anyone else had problems with this card?
How can I get this card to work?

udev is most likely not creating the required devices at boot, have a look at this mythtv post

hi there i think i might have this card it's the older hupplagre card not the 9002

this is what i get. is this right

and it comes up in kinfo center

but I only get in kaffiene SNR of about 93% but never no signal
some times it does not search proply and gets a 100% signal and zero [0] SNR
signal to noise rato

does this card do this as I have the SAA7146 (rev 01)

could it be the signal? but what i want to know has kaffien really got the knowledge to use this version of the card? as the manufature has changed the chip sets several times

is it trying to use the drivers for a diffrent card but a simuler one

i am using simply mepis 6.0 alpha 1 [have used mepis 3.4.3 same results]
