I have a fresh install of fedora 32 fully up to date. I am on a dual monitor system and I am finding that file and print dialogs appear on the wrong monitor. At times so do some programs.

Let me first start that I have set up the monitors in the setting so the correct monitor is primary. I can drag a window to the correct monitor but next time it will show up again on the wrong one. 2nd, the dual setup is a primary and extended so there is no way to start from the wrong monitor.

The program is running on the primary monitor sometimes by dragging it there other times because it is started there. Yet most times the dialog will appear on the other monitor. This has to be easy to fix but I can't figure it out.

Which desktop environment - KDE or Gnome? X11 or Wayland session?

This is on Gnome using x11. It is fairly consistent with the dialogs. I installed the putwindows extension which has fixed some of it.
