Wierd boot-up

Hi,

I have Fedora Core 5 running which I just recompiled kernel 2.6.15.1. Now everytime I boot up I get this message on boot:

Code:
failed to rmdir //dev: Device or resource busy
Does anyone know about this issue? The kernel boots up fine, but the error kind of bugs me.

Also, I tried recompiling with Kernel 2.6.19.2, but whenever I want to use ndiswrapper, I get the following:

Code:
Warning: Driver for device eth1 has been compiled with version 21
of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 19.
Some things may be broken...
I think all I need to do is to upgrade Wireless-tool, but how do I remove current version of wireless-tool? I have a whole bunch of programs depended on it which I don't want to remove.

For the first error sounds like you forgot something when creating the kernel, but why are you building a 2.6.15.1 kernel when FC5 has available;

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...57.fc5.src.rpm

For the wireless-tools problem download and rebuild the package from the latest source rpm;

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...-1.fc6.src.rpm

rpmbuild --rebuild --recompile --define 'dist .fc5' wireless-tools-28-1.fc6.src.rpm
