why font large


Sometimes font large & sometime maintain original shape i use 1024*768 resolution with depth 24bit. i use fc5, board asus, chipset intel82865 chipset 777 socket. sometimes at 1024*768 we see all desktop content by scrolling.

sounds like a bad installation. Did you install fc5 or did you upgrade from an earlier version?

i install a fresh copy of fc5

this can be happend when i work on window-xp & go to linux with window restart option but no any prob comes when i shutdown from window-xp & then start sytem for linux. generally reboot option option give error. any time system give large font problem just system down then start error remove.

Then this appears to be a windows problem. Or, possibly, you video card is storing surplus windows settings which are making a hash of the linux system.

What do you mean "windows restart option"? Do you mean you select "restart" from the windows logout menue? Personally, whenever I tried that, my machine would just reboot to windows without stopping at the grub menue first. Now I do not have windows.
