Where to specify configuration file for X server ?

hi,
One of my friend had redhat linux installed on his system. Yesterday he upgraded the linux to fedora core 5. But now his display is not working. I had a look at his system and found that fedora is using the display configurations from xorg.conf file and not from XF86Config file. Now i don't know where to specify the configuration file for X i.e. I want X server to read configuration from XF86Config file and not from xorg.conf file.

Thanks,
SAM.

FC5 uses the newer X.org X11R7.0 as the GUI interface, please read; http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/releas...ase-notes-ISO/

Section: 21. X Window System (Graphics) may be of interest.
