What is SRPMS?

Yea, the subject just about covers it. Sorry if this is a really obvious question. I'm a n00bie trying to push my way through and learn linux by myself. I went to a download site for the 64-bit version of core2 and I've got 2 options. "FC2-x86_64-SRPMS-disc1.iso" or "FC2-x86_64-disc1.iso" and I don't know the difference between the two.
Just in case you need to know:
Chaintech SK8T800
AMD Athlon 64 3400+
512MB PC3200 RAM
GeForce FX5200 w/256RAM (don't know why you'd need to know that...)

SRPMs are Source RPM files. If you had, say, a program called FoobarDeluxe that you really needed but one wasn't available for your system you would compile an install file from the SRPM. You would then have created FoobarDeluxe.rpm (the installer) from FoobarDeluxe.srpm.

You need FC2-x86_64-disc1.iso for your 64 bit needs.
