what is beaglidx ?

Hi!
I run FC6 and I see in /var/log/secure a lot of things regarding the user beaglidx. What is this user for actually? Is it specific to FC?

No, but it is specific to beagle. This is the user name beagle adopts for an index in other places on the drive. It runs from cron early in the mornings, but it does nothing at all by default. The user has to turn this on in order to index outside his home dir. I have never used that, but I also see these.
