Question What are these green arrows in Software updater?


Hi,
What are these green arrows that appeare beside a package in the software updater list (they apear beside packages like HAL, Kernel, ...)?

I believe that they are packages that are already installed.

what would happen if i check them to be installed again (does this cause any harm)?

If you click the check box it becomes a 'remove', the program will be removed from your system.
