What's wrong with my yum.conf?

Greetings everyone,

'apt' works like a charm but I've never succeeded a 'yum check-update' ... it may have something to do with my yum.conf

Here it is...

Quote:
[main]
cachedir=/var/cache/yum
debuglevel=2
logfile=/var/log/yum.log
pkgpolicy=newest
distroverpkg=fedora-release
gpgcheck=1

Whoa, wait sec....

I think I got it (yum check-update went flawlessly)...

Here's how my yum.conf looks like now:
Quote:
[main]
cachedir=/var/cache/yum
debuglevel=2
logfile=/var/log/yum.log
pkgpolicy=newest
distroverpkg=fedora-release
gpgcheck=1
tolerant=1
exactarch=1

[base]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Base
baseurl=http://fedora.redhat.com/releases/fedora-core-$releasever

[updates-released]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Released Updates
baseurl=http://fedora.redhat.com/updates/released/fedora-core-$releasever

#[updates-testing]
#name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Unreleased Updates
#baseurl=http://fedora.redhat.com/updates/testing/fedora-core-$releasever

[core]
name=Fedora Linux $releasever - $basearch - core
baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/core

#[extras]
#name=Fedora Linux $releasever - $basearch - extras
#baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/extras

#[alternatives]
#name=Fedora Linux $releasever - $basearch - alternatives
#baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/alternatives

[updates]
name=Fedora Linux $releasever - $basearch - updates
baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/updates

[freshrpms]
name=Fedora Linux $releasever - $basearch - freshrpms
baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/$releasever/$basearch/freshrpms

[livna-stable]
name=Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (stable)
baseurl=
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/yum/stable
gpgcheck=1
[livna-unstable]
name=Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (unstable)
baseurl=
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/yum/unstable
gpgcheck=1
[livna-testing]
name=Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (testing)
baseurl=
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/yum/testing
gpgcheck=1
I hope this helps others out there.... now on to searching for packages in yum ;-)

Yeah, you have to get those urls exaclty right, or else...
I found the file:// urls should start with file:/// (the extra one is for the root filesytem).
