Weird X crassh and error.

I am running a Toshiba S159 with the atheros wifi card built in. I am running Fedora Core 2. Everything was working just fine one minute and then the next it's messed up.

I configured the atheros card with madwifi and it worked just fine. I upgraded the kernel with redhats upgrade option to the latest one and it still worked fine. Then out of no where when I turned it back on kudzu picked up the atheros card. I had it configure it and set it to use dhcp. Then it continues to boot and it gives the following error:

bringup iface eth1: ath_pci device eth1 not present

I'm guessing this is because kudzu changed the atheros from ath1 to eth1. Then it continues to boot. It attempts to start X and then crashes and loops with the following console error:

localhost login: [drm:i830_wait_ring] *ERROR* space: 131056 wanted 131064
[drm:i830_wait_ring] *ERROR* lockup

It's an infinite loop. I have no idea what is going on. I've been using linux for a few years now, but this is the first week of me using it as a desktop, especially on my laptop. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jason
