Vnc

I installed VNC through the add remove programs, but in the program menu all I can find is vnc viewer. I need vnc server, it says the server is installed but where do I turn it on?

type the following /etc/init.d/vncserver start. From you client use viewer to access.

In Gnome you can use menu System->Preferences->RemoteDesktop and the checkbox "Allow other users to view your desktop".

After this you can on another computer use vncviewer 192.168.1.5:0 in a console. This works great for me anyway...
