Has anyone been able to get vlc working on FC6? I can't get it going via yum (installed vlc repos but there are dependencies on libraries which are older than those installed in FC6), rpm (many missing dependencies), or source ("configure" fails with missing libraries).

Any tips appreciated.

I have used the Livna repo for VLC for FC5 and FC6 and currently listening to streaming audio while typing this reply.

Thanks, Ryptyde - I've added Livna repo and it works fine now. Had to do 2 runs of yum for some reason but after that it worked a treat.
