Smile Very slow DNS resolving FC4

I don't know how widespread the problem is, but after installing FC4 it was taking up to 30 seconds for firefox find a website(WinXP and an older Quantian live CD were very fast). I googled a bit and disabled IPV6 which seemed to help some. I found one post that stated that some routers could not handle IPV6( mine was supposedly disabled) including his linksys model router(similar to mine). He solved his problem by updating his firmware. I did the same with my BEFSX41 ( updated to the January beta) and it is also now very fast in resolving DNS names. Is this really an IPV6 problem or a problem with some older routers?
