sumsun
Well well, the font name is " simsun.ttc " where is is located I don't know, it depends on which OS your fired are using
The full path where to install it I told you before
Hi and sorry for the late reply, I can not let you download thefonts from my website as it would not be legal, but if you can find the font from another source, you should copy those fonts to /usr/share/fonts/default/Type1
I hope it works for you

用小企鹅输入法呀!最流行的输入法
strongly recommend u choose fcitx input mothod which is the most popular InputMethod in Mainland China.
fcitx can be running under local enviroment.
i use ficitx to input Chinese, and i also in English local setting.
it works !!!

As my experience, you have to change 'LC_CTYPE' to chinese to use fcitx in english environment. Currently I'm using scim-fcitx, which is basically scim with fcitx as the input engine. It works in english environment, nothing need to be changed, including 'LC_CTYPE'.
