Using a windows application on linux using wine
 
HI all
I want to use badboy on linux platform.I have got the wine tool and i have installed the aplication.The badboy is installed but when i am trying to run using

wine badboy.exe

it is going to some debug mode in terminal , it is not showing the GUI interface.

Can anyone help me how to use in linux.

If so, you need to check what OSes are supported. IMO, Wine only goes as far as items compatible with Win98. If it won't work under Win98 it won't work in Wine. What are your terminal messages? Also do you have other apps running in Wine?

you may want to try cedega
 
Cedega is a commercial spin-off of wine. Don't buy it, just download the source code and compile it. You could also try qemu and some other programs that emulate entire OS's using disk images. Wine is by no means a complete really good most stuff runs emulator, it is very good though. Try different stuff post back, and so forth. Have fun and good luck.
