USB Backup and Restore - Fast and reliable way

Hi all!

I have a fedora core 5 server. I need to install some new software and I want to backup it first.

It has 2 HDDs: a 80 Gb and a 60 Gb hdd.

I want to backup everything on a 300Gb USB external HDD.

What is the fastest and most reliable way to be able to backup and (if needed) restore my data in this case?

Thank you in advance!

Check out Ghost for Linux. It backs up partitions.
Also partimage might serve well. Check out this Live cd with it. http://freshmeat.net/projects/systemrescuecd/
