usb
Hi all,
I've bought a cheap (yeh, I know, you get what you pay for) Rundisk usb storage device that just won't work on Fedora 2. dmesg results:
ehci_hcd 0000:00:1d.7: port 3 reset error -110
hub 5-0:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -32)
hub 5-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 3. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
This seems to suggest that there is a problem with the device and/or cable, however, it works well if I boot with Knoppix 3.3. I also have a digital camera (Sony DSC-S50) that works fine.
The Rundisk box states: "Support Linux Kernel version 2.4 or above without driver". Thought I had scored a bonus with this, but trying to get it to work in FC2 has been a real pain. Everything seems to be configured correctly in the kernel because my camera works. Anyone with any ideas please?
