Upgrading from FC1 to FC2...good idea ?

Hey all,

Need some advice on this. Currently running FC1 on my box. There's no problem with FC1 that I have come across as yet but ever since FC2 is out, I've been meaning to install or upgrade to it. I need all my data to remain intact (if thats possible) during the upgrade.

Will an upgrade to FC2 be safe and easy (or fun and messy

)???

I can't see any reason why it would go bad. Redhat and Fedora have pretty clean update method. Just pop the FC2 cd in and go from there.

I would recommend having Knoppix or something like that ready in case you have to go in and burn your docs and stuff before redoing the system, it'll probably go fine but just a word of advice, better safe than sorry.
