Updating Problem

Hi,

I have tried both YUM and up2date.

My problem is this when I use yum
Quote:

Error: Missing Dependency: net-snmp = 5.2.1-12 is needed by package net-snmp-libs
And with up2date,
Quote:

Test install failed because of package conflicts:
package net-snmp-libs-5.2.1.2-fc4.1 is already installed
The only thing I can point at is when I rebooted my computer during update...

But the only problem is that when I try to do "yum remove net-snmp",
it doesn't work. It says not instaslled.

Thanks in advance

Sometimes these problems happnen when updates are first issued. Don't ask me why. I usually wait a couple of hours or a day before trying to update my packages is these problems occur.

I'm not real sure that it's wise to use up2date and yum in conjunction with each other.

Well,
I wasn't using them in conjunction.

At first, I only tried using up2date.
But it gave me that error again.

So, I then tried yum because someone had suggested me trying it.
And I ended with where I am now.

But I will try waiting it out for a few days like you said :)
