updated samba, now don't have write access

I just ran up2date on an old system that's running Fedora Core 1 (first up2date in over a year). Samba writes were working before the update, now they aren't. I can see all the files and read them when i connect from a Windows machine, but I can't write to the samba share on the server.

no settings changed in my smb.conf.

I updated from 3.0.2-7.FC1 to 3.0.7-2.FC1

this machine is running kernel 2.6.3

This machine is my file server - 4 or 5 people can't work right now because of it, so any help is much appreciated.

got it... have to explicitly tell the share that it's writeable.
