Updated kernel to 2.6.9 + ... Evolution died

Co-incidence? When Fedora sent me notification of kernal 2.6.9-1.3_FC2, I installed it. At that point or very nearly, Evolution stopped working. I get an error saying something like, 'Evolution stopped unexpectedly'.

Not a serious problem since I was already thinking seriously of switching to Thunderbird, and I did. Managed to copy all my saved mail from Evolution to Thunderbird, but had to retype the contacts.

Checked Evolution again after I installed 2.6.9-1.6_FC2 ... same problem.

To test your theory, try a clean start:

# mv ~/.evolution/ ~/BACKUP.evolution
# evolution &

If it still fails then you might be right, if not your profile may just got corrupted.
