Hi

I just installed a bunch of updates to my Fedora Core 1 install. I didn't care for the fact that once I installed the new up2date it auto-magically subscribed me to the rawhide packages too, but anyways, here's my problem: after installing the rhnlib, rhpl and rhn-applet packages the new devel stuff, up2date won't launch and gives the following error

What's the question?

Downgrading the packages would fix it for you. It might have been better to rebuild the newer packages from rawhide from src.rpms.

You installed an up2date version from Rawhide onto FC1 -- it will not work until you've updated python. This is not something you want to do.

Downgrade those packages and install them from FC1 os (the cds) then update them from FC1 sources. See the mirror list at http://download.fedora.redhat.com/mirrors.html.
