Unable to login after installation fedora 2 server

Can't login after successful installation of fedora 2 server.

Kernel 2.6.5-1.358 on an i686

localhost login:
Password:

What should localhost be ?
Password I know.

On installation I put swedish keyboard can that be a problem ?

What login are you trying ??

try
root
yourpassword

If you cant access your machine anymore, boot from the 1st cd of your distro and use the rescue option..

localhost is just the hostname of your machine. This can be changed once you have logged in.

Try

localhost login: root
Password: your root password

Going from memory, Fedora asks you to create another 'non' root user account. I suggest you log in with that and only use root when its necessary.
