two linux installations
hi guys,
i would like to install 2 different versions of linux in my computer, for example FC6 64bit and FC6 32bits. As i understand i can install those versions by sharing the same /boot partition and creating diferent users ... may somebody tell me how to do it ? thanks in advance hector |
well as long as there is free space on the drive, just install them, there really are no special measures needed at all. sharing /boot is often nice, but really not essential. if you do wish to share /boot i would suggest installing your second distro without a /boot partition, and then once running, migrate the kernel images from the /boot folder under that distro to the /boot partition.
