Exclamation totem-xine problems

I have some problems with the totem-xine installation . Instructions followed from the site Stanton-finley.net .
It can play DVDs , but a screen pops up saying that to many frames are being dropped . Also to run
Xine-Check.
This is the output for xine-check :
xine-check
I am interested in removing the output which comes after OUCH! .

[ good ] looks like you have a /proc filesystem mounted.

The xine-config script can be used to determine some file locations
used by xine-lib, but you don't have such a script on your system.
However, it looks like you installed xine from the RedHat packages.
So I'll just guess that you are using the standard locations.
If you want me to be sure about those file locations, you can install
the 'xine-lib-devel' package (or 'xine-devel', depend on what packages
you're using, which contains xine-config. However, this package is
not really needed to run xine...

I don't think you gotta worry about anything, here's mine and i can play all types of files.
Code:
[shrikant@shricore ~]$ xine-check
Please be patient, this script may take a while to run...
[ good ] you're using Linux, doing specific tests
[ good ] looks like you have a /proc filesystem mounted.
[ good ] You seem to have a reasonable kernel version (2.6.18-1.2849.fc6)
[ good ] intel compatible processor, checking MTRR support
[ hint ] you have MTRR support but it's unused.
It seems like your X server didn't set any MTRR ranges for the
graphics card. Maybe upgrading your X server helps...
You don't have a PCI graphics card, do you? AFAIK, MTRR only
         helps with AGP cards.
         press <enter> to continue...

On a side note, have you got all gstreamer plugins installed?

Thank you .
I can play most files too - I think . The thing is that they don't play smoothly as mine is not the latest processor . So I am just trying to get everthing to optimum.

Thumbs up

CURED .
the problem was corrected by doing
yum -y install xine-lib-devel .
However the playback is still not smooth . though no fallen frames message has appeared.

You probably need to enable DMA...

I'm not sure how to do it in Fedora, but when I've had choppy DVD playback in Ubuntu, thats what did the trick(enabling DMA)
