The built-in card reader of my ThinkPad

cannot be recognized by FC4 at all. After I inserted a secure card into the reader, there is no any output from dmesg or /var/log/messages. In windows, it will be recognized as a new USB drive. What can I do in FC4? Any ways to use the card reader? One useful thing is that my digital camera is not well recognized in FC4 but it uses small SD card, so if I can read the card directly, then problem is solved. Any ideas? Thanks!

I am having a similar problem... My laptop has a 4in1 smartcard reader by o2micro.
I'm not sure what the thinkpad has but there are a load of driver's here:
