tftp on f12

Hi, I would like to enable a tftp server on my f12 box. I have installed tftp-server and xinetd is already there. I got the bit about changing etc/xinetd.d/tftp.

Then there were suggestions about changing iptables and hosts.allow. At this point I began to lose confidence in what I was doing.

Is there a step by step tutorial which explains how to start the server?

TIA

how to start it? as long as the config for xinetd sets disabled = no then it will (should) start. Obviously separately to starting it you need to ensure your tftproot and such are also configured to your needs.

why tftp over vsftp? I've always done vsftpd then configured /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.com
I believe that is the right config file.

why? Usually because they are different protocols completely and used for totally different reasons.
